I need more hours in a day!

I find myself sitting here having a quick coffee break, thinking holy cow it's 1.52 PM and I still have so much to do, I spent half the morning trying to track down my man's lost express post letter for him, which of course is delayed due to the Ash Cloud. Grrr. As long as it's there today, everything will be sweet.
While waiting on hold to talk to the post office, I did some more of my Acrylic abstract, and finally have the whole bottom layer on! Yay! When it has dried I can start putting the decorative layers on! Again yay! Although I'm still not sure that I'll ever show it to anyone, even though my 5 yr old thinks it's the best thing since sliced bread. I think that I looks like someone vomited colour all over it! 
I've done a lil bit more on my hand-stitched quilt squares (these I'm quite proud of, photo below!). They all still have their tacking stitches in and need to have borders put around them (which is why the sides look a bit shaggy. I was going to make them into a quilt for my terrible teen, but am now debating if I just make them into pillows instead!?!

Which means that I've done none of the things I need to, like grocery shopping, washing or doing what seems like 2 decades worth of dishes. So as it's only an hour & a half till school pick up I'll be off and see how much I can get done before then! :)
